Born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, FL, Anakarina's passion for skincare started early, formulating from natural ingredients for herself, her family, and her friends. Her path took her through Florence, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale, absorbing beauty culture, artistry, and science at every turn.

It was back in Nicaragua where she opened her first spa, and where her clinical education deepened through direct training under Dr. Fulton, a pioneer in skincare science. That foundation, combined with decades of medical aesthetics practice and collaboration with a Harvard/Brown-trained molecular researcher, led to the creation of Skin Lucent: a line built on the conviction that clinical results and ingredient integrity should never be a compromise.
